Reopening February 2027

Something wonderful is growing in South Lismore

Explorers School of Early Learning is closed while we renovate. We're reimagining our spaces for nature-based play and community connection, and we can't wait to welcome families back in February 2027.

Our renovation

What we're building

Our centre in South Lismore has been a second home for local families for more than 30 years. This renovation is about making it even better: simpler, greener and built around how young children learn best.

Nature-based play, reimagined

The outdoors stays at the heart of every day. We're renewing our play spaces with natural materials, loose parts and room to climb, dig, build and wonder.

Calm, welcoming learning spaces

Indoor environments refreshed to feel like home: warm, uncluttered and connected to the outdoors, so children can settle in, focus and play deeply.

A place for our community

Spaces where families and educators can gather and connect, because children thrive when the people around them do too.

What isn't changing

New spaces. Same roots.

Our purpose is to develop curious and confident lifelong learners. The renovation changes our buildings, not our beliefs.

Nature-based play

Learning through natural materials, loose parts and unhurried time outdoors, right beside Nesbitt Park.

Experienced, caring educators

Continuity of care and secure relationships with consistent educators who know and understand each child.

Family-operated for over 30 years

A family-run service that has supported Lismore families across generations, and will for many more.

Rooted in the Northern Rivers

Community-minded and proudly local. Families are partners in learning, and we grow together.
